This society and museum was formed to preserve the firefighting heritage of the town, and has also preserved some ghostly inhabitants as well. Many old-fashioned vehicles have reportedly driven off by themselves, and visitors and employees have heard the sound of diused vehicles moving through the museum at night. Others report having seen a shadowy spirit sitting in a fire truck near the entrance to the museum.
